After a hugely successful summer fair event last Saturday, it seemed fitting to thank all our parents and families for their unwavering support this year. Families turned out in force to be part of the joint event that was held at Broadoak School. I would like to express my sincere thanks to all the local community groups for taking part. It was lovely to see representatives there from the National Trust, Partington Parish Council, Your Housing, Motiv8 and St. Mary’s Church, to name just a few. I would also like to thank all of our parents for the incredible amount of donations brought in for the tombola and raffle, which were hugely successful stalls on the day. A special mention too for the parent council volunteers from Partington Central Academy who organised and ran these stalls on behalf of the children of Partington. We are also very grateful for the many generous donations from local businesses and residents such as Tina Jane, Tesco, The Coffee House, Davey’s Chemist, The Saracen’s Head, The Community Café, Neil Barrett Photography, Fred Varden, Rebecca Flint, The Hideaway, Cara Keig, Kimberley Dee and The Bridgewater Hall.

The event was a fabulous way to bring the community together and celebrate the achievements of the schools this year.

We look forward to continuing the successes and achievements in the next academic year.

Have a lovely summer.
