This week in school, everyone has been going book crazy to celebrate Book Week!
On Thursday the children came to school dressed as their favorite book characters.
Each class has chosen an author that they will be focusing on in their class.
Over the week, we have completed many fun activities linked to the author or a particular book by that author.
On Thursday, the children were able to come to school dressed up as their favorite character.

And let’s not forget our Teachers.

The Book Fair – Thursday 1st March 2018
Celebrating reading at our Book Fair!

The Book Fair arrived on Monday 26 February in school with hundreds of new children’s book to browse and buy.


There were over 200 titles for the children to choose from, there was books for everyone.

Every book bought could help to get FREE BOOKS for our school library.
The book fair was on every night (Monday – Thursday) after school for children to purchase books.

Year 6 World Book Day Spoon Competition

A great time was had making characters from their favourite books.

And the Winners were:

Jude Rowlands – 6CB Where’s Wally
and Kya Callaghan 6LP – Tigger from Winnie the Pooh

Thank you to all children who took part in the ‘Reach for the Stars’ challenge and for the fantastic photos sent in.
These will be used either on a display in the dining hall or in children’s reading areas.
